Single mom

Ever since her early childhood S. struggled with the emotional, behavioral, social and educational difficulties caused by growing up in a broken home. She didn’t even complete 12 years of grade-school. S. witnessed her brothers being taken into custody, and from a young age knew all too well how the drug trade operated… She watched her handicapped mother suffer, and saw her father collapse every evening after a long day's work as a truck driver. It came as no surprise that she sought to leave the house at a very young age and rent an apartment with her boyfriend. Her son was conceived from a mere acquaintance, without even knowing his fathers identity, and with no source of income after giving birth she quickly began accumulating debt in private loans and unpaid rent. To date, she still has no way to provide for her or her baby's basic needs and lacks any source of funding, while throughout the Covid19 crisis she and her baby were in and out of quarantine, yet again leaving her unable to work. More recently she joined a financial rehab program, and began receiving financial guidance and oversight. Financial support will enable her stability and secure her son's nutritional security and overall health.
