The D.’s are a family of 4. The mother L. suffers from back pains which limit her vocational opportunities, being that she can’t work manual labor jobs for long periods of time. Despite the difficulty, she continues to work a few hours a day as the cook in a daycare, because also the husband’s salary is surprisingly low. The family lives in a rented apartment after being denied gov. housing, and being that they are having great difficulty supporting themselves or affording their children's and the home's basic expenses they regularly turn to Social Services requesting material support. The D.’s need our help and support if they are going to survive in their tight situation.
