The family lives in a modest, rented apartment lacking basic necessities, such as an extra bed for her son and a dining table. Some of the essential appliances in the home are either missing or not functioning properly. There are weeks when M. cannot afford to buy even basic groceries, which severely undermines the family’s sense of stability and security. Recently, M. has been accompanying her eldest son to numerous tests and evaluations due to a suspected autism diagnosis, adding even more strain to an already challenging situation.
