R. a disabled single mother after a car accident in which she suffered a severe head injury to the point where she needed long rehabilitation and relearning of basic functional actions. R. raises her 3 children without help from their father. The father refuses to be in contact with his children and takes responsibility for them. R. took the disability allowance but was not entitled to special services. She continues with the rehabilitation procedures and the expenses surrounding the treatment are very expensive. The family lives in a horribly overcrowded apartment, without enough beds.
