We believe that donors shouldn't have to guess where their donations go to. That’s why we've
created a platform to directly connect aspiring donors with families in need.

R. is a single mother with a disability, following a severe head injury from a car accident that left her in need of lengthy rehabilitation and relearning basic functional skills. She is raising her two young children on her own, without any support from their father. The father, a member of a minority group, refuses to have contact with the children or take responsibility for them. R. lives off a disability allowance and is not eligible for special services. She is still undergoing rehabilitation, and the costs associated with her treatment consume much of her monthly income. As a result, she is forced to rely on her mother, who also suffers from a disability and faces financial hardship. The family lives in severe overcrowding and poverty, lacking even enough beds to sleep on — the mother and grandmother share a single bed.
