A. is a mother of four children, two of whom are minors living with her. She immigrated from Ethiopia and moved from an absorption center to a small, crowded apartment. About a year and a half ago, she was injured in a work accident when she was hit by a bus and has not been able to work since. The children's father is not in contact with them—they don’t even know where he lives. A. is trying to cope with numerous expenses while providing for her children’s needs, but she is unable to manage and is in need of assistance.
